The Skylight Loft occupies the entire second floor of a gothic Victorian villa situated on the lower slopes of the Wells Road close to the River Avon and the South entrance into the centre of Bath.
Set back from the road, behind an iron gate, this gothic wonder was once a Victorian Schoolhouse. Its owners have lovingly rearranged it into five uniquely decorated apartments.
The Skylight Loft is a particular favourite, with its quaint single bedroom, complete with snug study area and huge studio style sitting room/bedroom, with charming dining area, double bed and plenty of room to relax and entertain after a long day of site-seeing in Bath.
Unique, individual, bohemian? These are the words to describe this amazing second floor flat. Bright and airy, with windows and skylights galore, the Skylight Loft offers a remarkable two bedroom accommodation close to the centre of Bath and only a few minutes walk to the Bath Spa Railway station and a ten minute walk to the Bath Spa itself!
With full bathroom, complete kitchen, washing machine, single & double bedroom/living, this unusual flat features amazing views inside and out.
This flat is on the top floor, so has low sloping ceilings in places, so may not be suitable for tall people.
LOCATION: The Wells Road leads right to the centre of Bath, and our house is located just a little way from the River Avon, so it is an easy stroll into Bath with all its cafes, pubs, excellent restaurants and historic sites.
We are also a ten minute walk from our Southgate Shopping Centre, with it’s restaurants and Bath Spa Railway and Bus Stations.

Rates & booking:
RATES: Rates vary for the time of year and the length of stay, but always include all taxes and utilities. Special rates apply for Christmas and New Year. Minimum stay is only 2 nights, 3 nights for Bank Holidays.
- For up to 2 guests: £135 – £165 per night – £700 per week
- It’s £35 for each extra guest, per night.
RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY:
We will be requiring a deposit with your reservation. This deposit will act as a guarantee of your arrival.
YOUR FULL BALANCE will be taken 6 weeks before arrival.
We will take this from your credit or debit card also.
CANCELLATION: There is a £50 fee for cancellation up to 6 weeks before arrival. In the unhappy event that you must cancel after you have paid your full balance, we will make every effort to rebook the property. If the property is rebooked, your funds will be returned up to the value of the new booking, less a £50 Administration Fee. However, if the property remains unbooked, you will forfeit these funds paid to us in good faith.
