Lansdown Slope Townhouse is set in the heart of the Bath, a terraced gem of Georgian architecture, built around 1700. It sits on the lower slopes of Lansdown Hill, a short walk from the historic Assembly Rooms, the architectural marvels of The Circus and the Royal Crescent, with a myriad of restaurants, cafes and bars just down the street.

BEDS: The townhouse sleeps up to 8 persons, with 1 King Bedroom, 1 Double bedroom, 1 Twin bedroom and 2 single bedrooms.

LAYOUT: Entering the front door at street level leads you to the spacious and beautiful,  fitted kitchen, with dining table for eight.

The laundry room, office and newly refurbished shower room are also on the ground floor.

The first floor features the gracious sitting room, tastefully decorated in keeping with the period.

On this floor, there is the Double bedroom and a single room.

The top floor comprises the rest of the sleeping accommodation, with the Master king-sized bedroom with newly refurbished en-suite shower room, a twin-bedded room and a single-bedded room. This floor also has another good sized newly refurbished family bathroom with bath and separate shower.

FACILITIES: Lansdown Slope has gas central heating, electric  hob and oven, American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, flat screen LCD TV, 2 other TV’s, stereo with ipod dock, hairdryer in each bedroom,  telephone for incoming calls only with broadband internet access.

All linen and towels, including feather pillows. are included.

Naturally, this a non-smoking accommodation. 

LOCATION: This three storey townhouse  offers all the space and luxury a family or group travelling together could desire. The location is perfect for access to all the historic, literary  and architectural sites  Bath has to offer.  A stroll downhill will lead you to fantastic shopping, with restaurants, pubs and cafes, on your way to The Roman Baths. Lansdown Slope will make a perfect retreat from a hectic day of sightseeing.

PARKING: Unfortunately we are unable to offer parking, so guests will need to park in the long stay car parks in town.  Although I would advise travelling by public transport if at all possible.

This property is strictly non-smoking.

Groups of respectful adults travelling together (aged 25 and over) are welcome at this property.

2 Night minimum stay  Special 15% Discount for 3 night stays

Weekday Rates: Up to 4 Guests: £400 per night

Friday to Sunday: Up to 4 guests: £500 per night

Weekdays: 5  Guests: £475 per night / Friday to Sunday: £575 per night

Weekdays: 6 Guests: £550 per night / Friday to Sunday: £650 per night

Weekdays: 7 Guests: £625 per night / Friday to Sunday: £725 per night

Weekday 8 Guests: £700 per night / Friday to Sunday: £800 per night

Refundable Damage Deposit: £150

Special Weekly Price: £3,500 for 7 nights.

3 Day Minimum & Special rates apply for Public Holidays, Christmas and New Year.


We will need 50% deposit at the time of booking and your remaining balance will be due 6 weeks before your arrival date.

CANCELLATION: There is a £50 fee for cancellation up to 6 weeks before arrival.   In the unhappy event that you must cancel after you have paid your full balance, we will make every effort to rebook the property.  If the property is rebooked, your funds will be returned up to the value of the new booking, less a £50 Administration Fee. However, if the property remains unbooked, you will forfeit these funds paid to us in good faith.

Great location for exploring Bath, 15 mins walk down to the Abbey, but uphill on the way home! Very handy for Royal Crescent & enjoyed the museum at No 1 where you get to see how the house would have looked liked with audio & video in each room.
