Unusual, eclectic, spacious and gracious, the Dressmakers Salon is a remarkable 3 bedroom apartment on the first floor of The Raglan Villa, a Gothic Victorian Villa just steps away from the centre of Bath.
It includes a very compact kitchen, full bathroom with shower over tub, cloakroom, and large, uniquely furnished sitting room with dining area – perfect for entertaining.
Raglan Villa is a character-filled building and is not the “perfect boutique hotel” so many guests desire nowadays. It may not be your cup of tea, but if you enjoy the unusual and the quirky, this is the right place for you.
Set back from the road, behind an iron gate, this gothic wonder was once a Victorian Schoolhouse. Its owners have lovingly rearranged it into five uniquely decorated apartments.
The space is amazing. With a myriad of hallways and doorways, decorative fireplaces and an ornate alcove, historical costume pictures decorating the walls, and last but not least: views over Bath and beyond; you will adore this apartment.
LOCATION: The Dressmakers Salon occupies most of the first floor of this gothic Victorian villa situated on the lower slopes of the Wells Road close to the River Avon and the South entrance into the centre of Bath.
You will also find a Sainsbury’s Local grocery and convenience store there as well as the hop on – hop off sight seeing buses.
If you walk up the pedestrian streets through the shopping centre, you will reach the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey in short order.

Rates & booking:
RATES: Rates vary for the time of year and the length of stay, but always include all taxes and utilities. Special rates apply for Christmas and New Year. Minimum stay is only 2 nights, 3 nights for Bank Holidays.
- For up to 2 guests: £175 – £225 per night – £900 per week
- It’s £50 for each extra guest, per night.
- For up to 5 guests: £325 – £375 per night – £1,500 per week
RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY:
We will be requiring a deposit with your reservation. This deposit will act as a guarantee of your arrival.
YOUR FULL BALANCE will be taken 6 weeks before arrival.
We will take this from your credit or debit card also.
CANCELLATION: There is a £50 fee for cancellation up to 6 weeks before arrival. In the unhappy event that you must cancel after you have paid your full balance, we will make every effort to rebook the property. If the property is rebooked, your funds will be returned up to the value of the new booking, less a £50 Administration Fee. However, if the property remains unbooked, you will forfeit these funds paid to us in good faith.
